East Lake Veterinary Hospital Introduces Pet Talk, a New Podcast Series for Pets and Their Favorite People
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) January 06, 2015 -- Karen Fling, DVM and owner of East Lake Veterinary Hospital in Dallas, has begun production of an ongoing series of video/audio podcasts designed for people eager to know more about the pets in their lives. Seven programs have been completed to-date. Dr. Fling plans to produce a new podcast every week. Each podcast is approximately a half-hour long. Pet Talk is available to view or download at http://eastlakepettalk.com/; listeners can contact the show by phone or text at (972) 808-6038 or by email at podcast(at)welovepets(dot)net.
“In my twenty years at East Lake I’ve always appreciated our clients’ desire for more information about how to provide the best care for the animals they love,” said Dr. Fling. “Podcasts are the perfect medium for sharing large amounts of information in a virtual one-on-one format. To-date, we’ve already covered a wide range of topics, including invisible fences, leptospirosis, home pet safety tips, healthy treats, and how to travel with pets. Plus, we have fun sharing our favorite stories (including one about a special frog named Ozzy Osbourne). And we’re delighted to answer questions from our audience. People can visit our website to submit questions and we’ll do our best to answer them on Pet Talk.”
“It’s really like a free consultation with a vet,” says Dr. Will McCauley, a frequent co-host of the programs. “We take great pride in the amount of time we spend with our patients here at East Lake. These programs are a great way to spend even more time with them and share even more information.”
Pet Talk podcasts are produced at Squash Blossom Studios. This 3,000-square-foot photograpy/film production studio is a full-service resource for film and photography projects. Proceeds from the productions are donated back to homeless pets. Also, the onsite podcast production team, lead by photographer/videographer Roderick Pena, is available to host other podcasts for other groups or professions. “There has been such a learning curve for me hosting the podcast, it has been great to work with professionals like Roderick who make this part of what I do easy and fun!” says Fling. The studio is located at 7939 Heinen, Dallas, Texas. For information, call 214-893-6502, or visit: http://www.squashblossomstudios.com.
