New MBA Programs at Salem International University Emphasize 21st Century Business Skills
Salem, West Virginia (PRWEB) January 04, 2015 -- Salem International University, a leading West Virginia higher education provider for more than 125 years, is expanding its educational mission once again. New MBA students who begin their degree programs starting January 5, 2015 will be able to enroll in one of four new specialization areas:
•Management
•Sales Management
•Engineering Management
•Finance
Salem International University has developed these new specializations to meet demand for managers and executives who combine broad global business skills with advanced, targeted knowledge in a specific field.
The new program options bring the total number of MBA specializations at SIU to eight, in addition to existing MBA programs in Health Care Management, Sports and Recreation Management, Accounting, and International Business. Students take seven core business courses and five courses within their chosen concentration.
Through its MBA programs, the University seeks to develop a new generation of business leaders who have the analytical skills and technical knowledge necessary to succeed in—and help shape—the 21st Century economy. Courses emphasize how globalization and the impact of technology affect business decision-making and the management of people and processes.
All of Salem International University’s MBA programs are available on campus in Salem or via online education. An accelerated course format makes it possible for MBA students to complete their degree in as little as one year. Classes for the January 5th cohort are forming now.
