First South Bank Launches “Fund-a-Friend” Facebook Campaign
Washington, North Carolina (PRWEB) January 07, 2015 -- First South Bank is introducing “Fund-a-Friend,” a unique, locally focused way for First South Bank Facebook followers to nominate a worthy friend to win $600 or $400 from the bank. There will be two contest winners, the two people receiving the greatest response from their stories. To make it easy to win, the bank simply requests a name and story for each nomination. Stories might range from someone nominating a teacher, to a nomination for a family in need.
Nominations will be received over the next couple of weeks. To enter, simply submit the name and story of someone you know who needs help lightening their load. First South Bank will then ask their Facebook friends to vote for their favorite story; the top two people who get the biggest response will receive $600 and $400 respectively from First South Bank.
First South Bank is promoting the campaign through a new Facebook page, and hopes that a social media presence will help the bank connect with new and existing customers in new ways. Their involvement in social media and this campaign demonstrates the bank’s commitment to community and relationships.
The “Fund-a-Friend” campaign submission deadline is January 23, 2015. Nominations are encouraged to be submitted through Facebook, but can also be submitted via email and mail. See the campaign’s official rules for more information - http://www.firstsouthnc.com/fundafriendrules. The campaign voting deadline is February 13, 2015. Votes will be administered only on Facebook. The two winners will announced on February 17, 2015
“It’s fun to be a community bank that can run this kind of campaign that really impacts people we know.
