These families are already going through so much, we want to help out in any way we can
Fort Myers, Florida (PRWEB) January 05, 2015
The Ronald McDonald House is a place where families can stay to be near their children who are in the hospital. The house offers amenities to make visitors feel at home which includes a full size kitchen, individual bedrooms and bathrooms for the guests to stay comfortably. In order to help families in their times of need, there are many different ways others can help the Ronald McDonald house. Whether by answering phones, greeting guests, training other volunteers, helping with special events and more, those who volunteer truly make a difference. One of the most unique opportunities is one that allows volunteers to make a nice dinner for the families to enjoy each evening. AdvantaIRA Trust volunteered one of the evenings to make dinner for the families of the Ronald McDonald House.
“These families are already going through so much, we want to help out in any way we can,” says Dave Owens, managing partner of AdvantaIRA Trust, a self-directed IRA administrator headquartered in Fort Myers, Florida. The staff at AdvantaIRA Trust decided to make an Italian dinner consisting of meat and vegetarian baked ziti, chicken Caesar salad, garlic bread, and homemade chocolate chip cookies.
More employees from AdvantaIRA Trust are going back to the Ronald McDonald House at the end of January to make another home-cooked meal for the families.
