Phillip Sheppard, The Specialist, Is 'Man About Town'
Hollywood, CA (PRWEB) January 05, 2015 -- Reality TV sensation Phillip Sheppard has been appointed to write a monthly column for the prestigious international online literary/arts magazine, Neworld Review.
According to Fred Beauford, Editor-in-Chief of Neworld Review, “Sheppard’s new job is to bring to our readers a snapshot of some of the creative people that make up the arts community. Phillip is a natural choice for 'A Man About Town' as he is an internationally known celebrity and a natural conversationalist. His ability to get people to gravitate toward him and his observations are perfect for our online literary/arts magazine.”
Phillip Sheppard is a former Federal Agent, Military veteran and former contestant for two seasons on CBS "Survivor," one of the first breakout reality television shows.
Phillip created the character The Specialist as seen on "Survivor" and conceptualized it in the novel, "The Specialist: The Costa Rica Job," which he co-authored with his younger brother.
“Sheppard got my attention when a review of his book made the Top 15 list of all books reviewed on Neworld Review in the past seven years, which is why I reached out to him,” said Beauford, himself the author of eleven books.
“It was clear to me that Phillip’s marketing and media skills and his CBS fan base helped drive this online frenzy experienced on our site over 'The Specialist,'” he added.
Neworld Review was founded by Fred Beauford in 2007 and went online in 2009. It now has readers in almost every country on Earth, with the United Kingdom its largest overseas market. More than four million readers have logged on so far. Neworld Review has been called one of the “most intelligent, well written online publications to come out of America in the new Internet age.” http://www.neworldreview.com/
