With our new Omnichannel Suite, we're helping retailers navigate the blended environment successfully.
New York, NY (PRWEB) January 05, 2015
Leading omnichannel platform provider and Retail Pro® integrator UniteU® announced today the addition of a new bundle of omnichannel features for brick-and-mortar retailers called Omnichannel Suite™. With the goal of enabling retailers to transform and evolve their shopping experience for customers, the new feature-set makes it easy for retailers of all sizes to deploy omnichannel capabilities that bridges their ecommerce platform with their point-of-sale and back-office systems. Features include multi-location inventory visibility online, ship-to-store and reserve online for local pickup.
With UniteU’s Omnichannel Suite of tools, shoppers can now find products online and quickly identify which stores have them in stock, or even have them shipped to a location nearby.
“Fast-delivery systems like Amazon Prime® and overnight shipping by FedEx and UPS have changed customer expectations. Consumers now expect immediate access to the products they want,” said Soumen Das, CEO at UniteU. “With this new set of tools we’re helping retailers of all sizes meet those expectations.” Previously these features were only available to larger retailers who had invested heavily in complex and expensive inventory and ecommerce systems, often custom-built. This new feature-set from UniteU now enables mid-sized and smaller retailers to easily deploy these features and meet the new consumer expectations.
Multi-location inventory enables consumers to check multiple locations online for the product they want. This feature can also be leveraged by the retailer to allow consumers to identify products at a brick-and-mortar location that can be delivered to another location for pickup. Ship-to-store similarly allows shoppers to identify products online and have them shipped to their local store. With the reserve online feature, shoppers can find their product in-stock at a location and reserve it for pickup.
UniteU has successfully deployed the feature set for retailers such as Mexicali Blues, Erik’s Bikes and City Sports.
“The retail environment is now a blended environment with ecommerce sites integrating with inventory systems, shipping and brick-and-mortar pickup,” said Soumen Das, CEO at UniteU. “With our new Omnichannel Suite, we’re helping retailers navigate that blended environment successfully.” UniteU’s dedication to providing continuous business services in this manner gives retailers an advantage because they no longer have to worry about developing, optimizing and maintaining the technologies that consumers have come to expect.
