New Year, New Bake-at-Home Pizza Concept Opening in Lake Forest This Week
Lake Forest, IL (PRWEB) January 07, 2015 -- If there’s one resolution that’s sure to stick, it’s to eat more pizza in 2015—and Bake425˚ is doing its part to help you keep it local, too. The new farm-to-crust concept is bringing artisanal pizzas piled high with fresh, locally grown flavors to Lake Forest later this week.
Bake425˚ officially opens up shop at 268 Deerpath Rd. on January 7, with a grand opening celebration on Saturday, January 10. Local residents are invited to stop by between 1pm and 4pm for fresh-baked samples of local and organic from-scratch pizzas, family-sized cookies and small-batch sodas.
Chef Ambrose Erkenswick, founder Bill Borneman and the Bake425˚ team will be on hand to talk about the ways in which they strive to reduce the number of steps from farm to crust — everything from sourcing local and organic ingredients to making their own sauces and dough in house daily.
With the opening of Bake425˚, Lake Forest foodies can sate their locavore cravings with seasonal flavors already assembled into artisanal bake-at-home pizzas such as the Butternut Classic, a savory blend of roasted butternut squash and fresh sage topped with homemade mozzarella and aged parmesan. Or crisp, antioxidant-rich greens such as the Sunshine Salad, a winter-brightening blend of spicy arugula, cherry tomatoes, roasted squash and pine nuts tossed in a bright lemon oil dressing.
The Lake Forest location is the fourth Bake425˚ location to open. Last year, the company opened three stores—one in Highland Park, one in Winnetka and one in Evanston. Additional stores are planned for 2015 in Hinsdale, Glencoe and Barrington, with other locations soon to follow.
Bake425˚ is open Monday–Thursday from 2pm to 8pm and Friday–Sunday from 1pm to 8pm. Orders may be placed by calling 847.615.6000.
