Teaching in iPad Classrooms is Easier with New Version of Vision ME App
Portland, Ore. (PRWEB) January 06, 2015 -- Today Netop announced an update to its Vision ME iPad® classroom workflow app is now available in the App Store. Designed to make teaching in iPad classrooms easier and more effective, the latest enhancements provide teachers with expanded control features, file sharing capabilities and increased foreign language support.
"The updated features in the Vision ME app were designed in response to some of the biggest challenges that teachers in iPad classrooms face,” said Kurt Bager, CEO of Netop. “While iPads create many new opportunities for collaboration, teachers still need the ability to control and monitor what their students are doing so that everyone stays on task. Teachers also want to be able to distribute and collect student work electronically as they move their classrooms to a paperless model. Vision ME now provides even more support to help educators address these important issues.”
Vision ME provides enhanced mobile device management (MDM) capabilities, allowing teachers to selectively apply popular control features like “Attention” and “Web Lock” to individuals, groups of students, or the entire class. The new version also introduces file sharing and saving features, supporting paperless classrooms by making it easier to distribute and collect assignments, iPad to iPad. In addition, a German-language version of Vision ME is now available in this release, which will be the first in a series of local language versions under development.
“After testing out Vision ME software, the first thing that struck me about it is how intuitive, simple, and user-friendly it is,” said Rabbi Aaron Fleksher, an educational technology integrator at Hebrew Academy of Long Beach who recently tried Vision ME. “Many teachers are not yet comfortable implementing technology into their classroom. Vision ME certainly eases that transition and helps give the educator the peace of mind that they can manage their class with ease.”
Three components are needed to use the latest version of the app: the web-based online learning and assessment tool, the Learning Center, which can be accessed from Netop’s Vision ME web page; and the Vision ME teacher and Vision ME student apps, which are available to download for free in the App Store. To get started, please begin by setting up your Learning Center account at the Netop website.
Pricing starts at $7.50 per user, with volume discounts available. For a free 30-day trial of Vision ME, visit http://www.netop.com/visionme.
