Waldorf Risk Solutions and Biedermann-Hoenig-Semprevivo Law Firm Co-Host Risk Management Summit for Non-Profit Employers and Educators
Huntington, New York (PRWEB) January 06, 2015 -- On Friday, January 9, 2015, Waldorf Risk Solutions, in collaboration with Biedermann-Hoenig-Semprevivo Law Firm, will host a summit at Molloy College in Rockville Centre to discuss Risk Management and the legal challenges facing non-profit employers and educators.
The summit will run from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Public Square Larini Room of Molloy College. Speakers include: Bill and Stephen Waldorf of Waldorf Risk Solutions; Philip Semprevivo Jr., Brooke Bowe and Elaine Chou, of Biedermann-Hoenig-Semprevivo law firm. Their discussion will focus on risk management and the unique legal challenges non-profit employers and educators face surrounding discrimination based on disabilities, crisis management, compliance and government regulations, cyber bullying, sports injuries, employment practices, and Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972.
“There is an increased awareness within the not for profit and educational clients of Employment Practice Liability given the frequency of claims and the publicity that surrounds them,” said Bill Waldorf, Senior Managing Partner at Waldorf Risk Solutions. “Allegations of discrimination are the most common and the need for proper procedures is becoming critical to both mitigate claims but also to comply with investigations following the initial complaint.”
Seating for this event is limited, so organizations are encouraged to reserve a seat by contacting Melissa Traynor at (631)-423-9500 or Melissa(at)waldorfrisksolutions(dot)com.
