Lucky’s Market Proud To Announce Steve Black As New President
Boulder, Colorado (PRWEB) January 06, 2015 -- Lucky’s Market announced today that Steve Black has been appointed as president of the company effective immediately. Mr. Black brings more than 38 years of relevant industry experience to his new role having previously served as VP of Operations, CIO & CMO of Sprouts Farmers Markets.
Mr. Black’s experiences in key roles in the retail grocery space make him a natural to help lead the Lucky’s management team. Prior to his roles at Sprouts, he was the VP of Operations, VP of IT and Marketing at Sunflower Farmers Market and was the transitional executive leader during the Sprouts/Sunflower merger.

Mr. Black has also served as SVP of Center Store Purchasing & Pricing at Bruno’s Supermarkets in Alabama, and spent the majority of his career at United Supermarkets of Oklahoma, where he held various store level management roles along with headquarters IT, marketing & buying positions.

Lucky’s Market will open its eighth store nationwide on January 7, 2015, adding to the list of stores already open in Columbia, Mo., Ellisville, Mo., Billings, Mont., Louisville, Ky., Longmont, Colo., and Columbus, Ohio as well as its original store in Boulder, Colo.
