"3.1% unemployment in Yellowstone County is incredibly low. Traditionally, 5 to 6% unemployment would be considered "full" employment. In a job market where there are only a small number of unemployed workers available for any given position, we, as we always do, strive to provide the best jobs with the best benefits to attract top quality employees," says Avitus Group's Senior VP of Finance, Steve Bentley.

Avitus Group is considered one of Montana's top 10 largest employers through their co-employer relationship with nearly 3300 worksite employees throughout the state. Internally, Avitus Group has 157 employees, of which 129 work out of the Billings Operations Center. In 2012, Avitus Group had 74 internal employees. The company has more than doubled its staff in two years and is currently adding 12 more positions in the Billings Operations Center through the invite only hiring fairs. Originally only one fair was planned, but there were too many top quality candidates to interview in one day. The second fair is scheduled for late January and additional hiring fairs may be scheduled throughout the year as new positions are added. The positions are in payroll, bookkeeping, information technology, marketing services and benefits and can be found on the company's website on the "Your Next Career" page.

When word started to get out about our invite only hiring fair, we actually had candidates show up at our office just to confirm we received their emailed resume and if there was anything else they needed to do.
