McGeough Lamacchia Realty announces that they had more sales than any other team in Massachusetts for 2014

McGeough Lamacchia Realty is pleased to announce that for the fifth year in a row, the McGeough Lamacchia Team has sold more homes in Massachusetts than any other agents or teams.

With 265 listing sales in Massachusetts under the McGeough Lamacchia Team in MLS Property Information Network for 2014, the team is in the #1 slot by transaction once again.

Along with the 265 listing sales in Massachusetts, their real estate team had an additional 34 listing sales in New Hampshire and a handful of non-MLS listings sales, for a total of 302 team listing sales. In addition to the team listing sales, their independent agents also had an additional 19 listings sales, for a total of 321 listings sold. This doesn’t include their great team of buyer agents in the field, who help buyers find homes even if the homes aren’t listed under McGeough Lamacchia Realty. These agents helped 197 buyers get into their dream homes. As a company, they sold over 500 homes once again.

Once again, McGeough Lamacchia Realty made the 2014 Inc. 500|5000 list of the fastest growing private companies in the U.S. The company ranks 2nd in the Top 100 Massachusetts Companies, and 98th in the list of Top Real Estate Companies in the U.S. They also earned the position of 3206 on the 2014 Inc. 5000 list. This is the third consecutive year in which McGeough Lamacchia Realty appears on the list.

The company was also named one of the Boston Business Journal’s 2014 Pacesetters, a list of the fastest-growing private companies in the state.

Anthony Lamacchia and John McGeough had been the leaders of this team since its formation in 2006. This past September, John sold his half of the company to Anthony. As of January 1st 2015, the team will now be identified in MLS as the “Lamacchia Team”.

In 2014, McGeough Lamacchia Realty added more Buyers’ Agents to help even more home buyers in Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. These additional agents resulted in great growth on the buyers’ side of the business as compared to 2013. The company also had a significant increase in average sale price, which resulted in a higher sales volume than 2013. In 2015, they will see large growth in both the buyer and listing numbers, leading to yet another high-performing year for McGeough Lamacchia Realty.
