TROY offers a brand new functionality that includes adding security to MICR printing applications with a single pass through. Now customers who are printing low-volume checks can print the MICR characters as well as Invisible UV, TROY SecureUV, features at the same time.
With a print speed of 15 pages per minute, the TROY WF-3520 MICR SecureUV Printer is ideal for small to medium businesses providing customers with the ability to utilize a Multifunction Printer as a MICR printing unit. When a customer is not printing checks they can easily place a standard black cartridge into the printer and print secure documents with TROY’s latest specialty ink.
There is no special software required to call the (invisible UV) SecureUV ink. Customers can simply set-up each of the features as a color and they will print with the TROY WF-3520. Ink costs average around 6 cents per page for MICR and 8 cents per page for TROY SecureUV based on 5% coverage.
