ConnectYourCare Names Julie Linn Chief Compliance Officer
Hunt Valley, MD (PRWEB) January 06, 2015 -- ConnectYourCare named Julie M. Linn as the company’s new Chief Compliance Officer. Ms. Linn, who most recently served as Vice President of Regulatory Compliance for Green Dot, as a dual officer for both Green Dot Bank (a state-chartered member bank) and Green Dot Corporation (the bank’s holding company), began her role on December 29, 2014.

In her role, Ms. Linn will be responsible for refining ConnectYourCare’s corporate compliance standards and ensuring that those standards, as well as applicable laws and regulations, are met by all areas of the company.
Ms. Linn is a 15 year industry veteran with extensive experience in regulatory compliance issues. As a legal and compliance executive, she has worked with organizations ranging from startups to the world’s largest company. Her career is marked by noteworthy contributions to many Fortune 500 corporations, including the development of their compliance programs from the ground up.
Prior to joining Green Dot in 2011, Ms. Linn was a Divisional Compliance Director for Walmart Inc., where she was responsible for operational compliance risk for a $23 billion segment of the business. Previous to that role, she spent 5 years as the Head of U.S. Regulatory Compliance for PayPal and was a member of eBay’s legal team. Ms. Linn also has legal experience at sizable firms, as in-house counsel, as well as in private practice consulting.
After receiving her Bachelor’s degree with honors, Ms. Linn was selected by the U.S. Department of Justice to participate in the U.S. Attorney’s Law Honors Program in Washington, DC. She then went on to earn a Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine School of Law and a Master’s from Pepperdine Graduate School of Business, focusing her studies on Quantitative Analysis/Statistics.
Ms. Linn is a published author and has written a textbook on creditor’s rights. She is well-recognized for her expertise in the areas of Electronic Funds Transfer Act/Regulation E, Fair Credit Reporting, and the emerging field of social media risks, regulation, and use within the financial services sector.
