Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce to Present “Curb the Carb Cravings” at January Pink Bag Luncheon
Hampton, Va. (PRWEB) January 07, 2015 -- On Jan. 8, from 12 to 1 p.m., Caroline Fornshell of LWell Longevity Health and Wellness in Yorktown will present “Curb the Carb Cravings” in the first women’s Pink Bag Luncheon of the year, hosted by the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce (VPCC).
“Curb the Carb Cravings” encourages women to take on the world and their business in 2015, starting with health.
Being healthy equals productivity, and as Fornshell says, eating better is the first step.
Post-holiday carb cravings can sabotage best attempts to follow 2015 diet plans, according to Fornshell and LWell. To reverse cravings, women need to recognize their individual reasons for that urge. In the workshop, attendees will receive tools to help them identify unique triggers for cravings and leave with an eight-step action plan.
The luncheon is scheduled to begin at noon, and includes 10 minutes of business networking, where women are encouraged to make business connections and distribute business cards.
Lunch will be provided by one of VPCC’s 2015 Catering Sponsors.
The cost of the event is $5 for members and $10 for non-members.
Members attending are encouraged to also bring business handouts, giveaways and goodie bags to display on a table in the front lobby of the VPCC. Attendees can pick up any information at their convenience.
Seating is limited. Reserve a spot by registering online at http://business.virginiapeninsulachamber.com/events/details/pink-bag-luncheon-01-08-2015-2248.
The event will be held at the VPCC located at 21 Enterprise Parkway, Suite 100 in Hampton, Va. 23666.
This is the first in the 2015 monthly Pink Bag Luncheon series. For information about the other events in 2015, stay tuned to the VPCC event calendar at http://www.vapeninsulachamber.com.
