FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (PRWEB) January 07, 2015 -- Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) today released its first company-wide annual report. The report offers data on three levels: organization-wide, state-by-state and school based performance. The report also introduces unique stories about students, schools and teachers.
“This is the most comprehensive report we have released in the history of Charter Schools USA,” said Jon Hage, CEO and founder of CSUSA. “We have an amazing story to tell about our organization and the impact we are making in the lives of thousands of students each year.”
The report outlines a set of data that corresponds to every school CSUSA managed in 2013-14. Each school’s proficiency and learning gains are measured against the local district.
The report highlights that 58 percent of CSUSA schools met or exceeded their district's performance on state assessments and 57 percent of CSUSA schools exceeded their state’s performance. In addition, 100% of CSUSA schools managed for three years or more achieved an A, B or C and the network has received 95% parental satisfaction.
The report measures CSUSA against questions including: Is CSUSA providing the right choice for communities? Are our students progressing and achieving academically?
“At our core we are a data-driven company and we believe data is a key ingredient to the success of our students and our schools,” said Hage. “CSUSA has been on the frontlines of the education reform movement for 17 years and releasing this information today gives parents and communities another resource when choosing the pathway for their child.”
The CSUSA annual report also includes background information on the organization and CSUSA model, the network’s top-teachers and CSUSA’s 2014 system-wide initiatives.
