Infrastructure Expert Leonard Sequeira Joins HNTB Corporation as Group Director Transportation
SANTA ANA, Calif. (PRWEB) January 07, 2015 -- Leonard Sequeira, PE, has joined HNTB Corporation as vice president and group director transportation for Southern California. He brings more than three decades of experience in planning and designing highways, bridges and infrastructure facilities.
In his role at HNTB, Sequeira will focus on delivering highway projects for the firm’s Southern California clients. Sequeira has been involved in successful projects throughout the region, including the Interstate 5 Gateway Project, the Interstate 405/Interstate 605 West County Connectors, the State Route 22 Design-Build, and Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s Interstate 710 Utilities Corridor. He is based in the firm’s Santa Ana, California, office.

Prior to joining HNTB, Sequeira worked with another engineering firm as senior program director in the company’s road and highway division. Additionally, he previously owned his own engineering firm, where he led multi-million-dollar infrastructure projects throughout Southern California.
Sequeira is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and Women's Transportation Seminar. He earned a master’s degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Engineering & Technology (Pakistan). He is a registered professional engineer in California.
