Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce to Host Marketing Seminars Jan. 14
Hampton, Va. (PRWEB) January 12, 2015 -- The Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce (VPCC) is pleased to announce it will host Judith Alberts of Alpha-Oh eMarketing in Williamsburg for a two-part Marketing Seminar Series Jan. 14. Alberts will focus on how to develop marketing plans and utilize Facebook for business.
Members and non-members are invited to attend one or both sessions – “Make a Marketing Plan NOW!” and “Facebook for Business - A Beginner’s Guide.”
The series will be held at the VPCC offices in Hampton and is open to members and non-members for $40, or $25 each.
The session “Make a Marketing Plan NOW,” held from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., will cover Alberts’ four pillars of planning: making a business “find-able,” defining goals and objectives, nurturing relationships with customers and building campaigns to drive action.
Then, from 5 to 7 p.m., Alberts’ second session will emphasize the importance of maintaining a business Facebook page and include strategies to improve that powerful social marketing presence.
While new social networks seemingly pop up every week, more people use Facebook than all other social platforms combined, Alberts said.
In the Facebook session, attendees will learn the difference between a Personal Profile, a Group and a Page; receive step-by-step instructions on how to set up a Business Page and add administrators; learn how to schedule postings, including imagery; and develop a strategy for marketing on Facebook that drives action.
Alberts will also share bonus information about Facebook privacy for personal profiles.
