Victor, NY (PRWEB) January 09, 2015
REDCOM® Laboratories, Inc., a developer of innovative telecommunications systems, today announced that its enhanced Version 4.0AR3PB software, for use with the High Density Exchange (HDX) and SLICE® family of products, has been placed on the DISA Unified Capabilities (UC) Approved Products List (APL) and certified for use as a Local Session Controller (LSC).
In order to be placed on the UC APL, products must be carefully evaluated and achieve certification for information assurance (IA) and interoperability (IO) by the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC). REDCOM’s latest product certification will remain in effect for the next three years.
REDCOM’s TRANSip® technology — together with Teo® IP phones and Polycom RealPresence Group Series video phones — delivers powerful capabilities highly relevant to the military, including support for the Assured Services Session Initiation Protocol (AS-SIP), IPv4/IPv6 dual stack, Multi-Level Precedence and Preemption (MLPP), seamless converged TDM/IP interoperability, secure communications via V.150.1, and much more.
The HDX and SLICE® family of products running Version 4.0AR3PB software enable unique applications such as:
Multi-Technology Conference Management: REDCOM’s Link Command System (LCS) is an operator-driver control platform that runs on a standard PC. The LCS delivers extensive operator-driven conference control features including call handling, directory assistance requests, and call queue management. All device types—land lines, cell phones, radios, and VoIP phones—can be connected into a conference. The LCS provides conferencing operators with a visual interface for initiating, monitoring, and controlling secure conferences.
REDCOM Softphone: REDCOM’s new Softphone includes multiple mission-critical features such as dual registration, call recording, directory dial, MLPP, and conferencing control, delivering true survivability to Mission Commanders.
REDCOM Report Generator: The REDCOM Report Generator is a software application that enables network administrators to monitor traffic on a REDCOM switch and quickly create a number of useful reports.
