Pam Manor Named Chief Nursing Informatics Officer of UMass Memorial Medical Center, Boston, MA
Tampa, FL (PRWEB) January 10, 2015 -- UMass Memorial Medical Center’s Department of Nursing, has announced that Pam Manor has been appointed Chief Nursing Informatics Officer (CNIO), following an extensive national search. Manor is a proven nursing informatics leader with a track record in selecting, implementing and leveraging IT platforms in support of excellent clinical care.
Most recently Manor served as Chief Clinical & Nursing Informatics Officer, Director Clinical Education and Practice Innovation, at St. Francis Hospital, an academic medical center for the University of Connecticut. Manor received her Doctor of Nursing Practice, Clinical Informatics degree from Sacred Heart University; Master of Nursing Management from the University of Hartford, CT; and Bachelor of Nursing at Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, IA. She is also Board Certified in Nursing Informatics by ANCC.
