The Southern Californian, family-owned business has been helping build Los Angeles since the company opened its doors in 1927. The new website expands on Spragues’ numerous projects and services, most notably their dedication to green initiatives.

“We are ecstatic to finally be launching our new website!” Steve Toland, Vice President of Spragues’ Ready Mix Concrete said. “It’s layout is very inviting and consumer friendly and is a step in the right direction for our innovative company. We are very pleased with the end result.”

Spragues’ serves both contractors and homeowners all the way from The San Fernando Valley to The San Gabriel Valley, including cities such as Pasadena, Glendale, Burbank, Northridge, Granada Hills, Woodland Hills, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks and others throughout the Southern California area. Their staff is trained in stamped concrete design as well as stained concrete and other techniques, including custom mixes or colors, special finishes and decorative integral rock.

Spragues’ was also the first Ready Mixed Concrete supplier in Southern California to install Enviroguard Chute Wash Systems. The system allows drivers to clean their trucks without creating any hazard to the environment and recycles all concrete wash water back into the drum of the concrete mixer without putting any risk on the contractor or municipality. About Spragues’ Ready Mix Concrete

Spragues’ Ready Mix Concrete was born during the 1920s, when Los Angeles was still a city in transition. What had been an unimportant mid-sized town situated among orange groves and cattle ranches more than doubled in population, and communities like Hollywood, Burbank, Montbello, Pasadena, Pomona and Glendale began to grow. It was at the height of this boom that Spragues’ Ready Mix Concrete opened its first ready mix concrete plant in Irwindale to supply concrete and serve concrete contractors in Los Angeles, Pasadena and Southern California. Since then, Spragues’ has been at the heart of growth and construction in the Los Angeles basin. The company has expanded its ready mix concrete operations for homeowners and contractors northward into the San Fernando Valley and communities such as Malibu, Thousand Oaks and Ventura County, with the opening of its Simi Valley concrete plant in 1976.
