Couples can enjoy luxurious VIP treatment at one of TripAdvisor’s top lakeside destinations in the world with a new VIP Night Out package from The Landing Resort & Spa. Celebrating its first anniversary, Lake Tahoe’s first five-star boutique lakeside resort invites guests to indulge with a romantic evening of relaxation and fine dining – perhaps in celebration of their own anniversary – with the new package. While The Landing has served as a Tahoe getaway for actual celebrities – and takes pride in treating all of its guests as VIPs – the “date night out” package provides extra pampering for couples looking for a special escape.

VIP Night Out guests will arrive to a bucket of chilled champagne in their ultra-luxe lakeside suite, followed by either a relaxing couple’s massage or two individual 50-minute treatments at The Landing’s full-service spa. After the soothing spa time, VIP Date Night heads to Jimmy’s Restaurant, where guests can enjoy a romantic dinner for two, choosing from a menu created by celebrity chef Maria Elia, whose Greek-inspired gourmet cuisine has been lauded by The New York Times and on NBC’s TODAY Show.

After dinner, guests can take a tranquil stroll along Lake Tahoe’s lakeside beach via The Landing’s private beach access, then return to catch the sunset from the patio of their lakefront suite over one of Jimmy’s decadent desserts. Guests can also plan to sleep in the next morning, as a late checkout time is also part of the VIP package.

Rates for the VIP Night out at The Landing start at $489 per couple and include one night in a Premium Lake Front Suite and dinner credit valued up to $150 as well as a bottle of champagne, spa treatments for two, dessert delivered to the room and a 1 p.m. checkout. Package is based on availability, and guests must book one or more days prior to arrival date with non-refundable deposit due upon booking.

The 77 boutique hotel rooms at The Landing feature five-star amenities including marble bathrooms with heated bathroom floors and toilet seats, high thread count linens, 55-inch wall mounted televisions, plush terry robes, Keurig coffee service, luxurious contemporary European furnishings, fireplaces and private decks, most with a lake view.

Jimmy’s Restaurant at The Landing includes several private dining alcoves with fireplaces for a luxuriously intimate experience and four fire pits on an outdoor lake-view patio. Jimmy’s glass-enclosed award-winning wine cellar features more than 2,000 hand selected bottles from over 250 labels from around the world, including a rich offering of Greek wines, several grower champagnes, and sought-after selections from both the new and old world.

The full-service Spa at The Landing offers customized spa treatments using organic and natural botanicals, including stress-reducing massages and sports-specific treatments perfect for après-ski. The spa also includes a sauna, steam room, special couple’s treatment room and relaxing Spa Sanctuary serving a selection of detoxifying teas.
