Only Publication to Track Innovative Technology Underpinning Bitcoin, Crypto Currency, Decentralized Apps and Internet-of-Value Platforms

Block Chain Inside Out - - the only news service dedicated to the innovative distributed ledger technology that underpins crypto currencies, decentralized applications and the internet of value, launches today following a successful beta rollout. The publication was founded by Pete Harris, a veteran technology journalist and publisher, who has held editorial and business leadership roles at A-Team Group and Waters Information Services.

Updated continuously, Block Chain Inside Out follows the business and IT dynamics related to block chain architectures, covering developments with applications, APIs, platforms and technologies.

Block chain technologies are highly scalable decentralized public ledgers. A form of advanced database, they are emerging as an exciting and innovative direction for implementing massively scalable and secure decentralized applications. Beyond their implementation underpinning bitcoin and crypto currencies, block chain approaches have been mooted to solve business challenges where it is vital to record data in a secure, authenticated and immutable way. As such, they will impact every aspect of eCommerce - from finance to intellectual property, from real estate to health, from citizenship to the Internet-of-Things.

According to business and technology innovation guru Don Tapscott: “The underlying block chain technology of crypto currencies is a core part of the next generation of the internet that is radically going to transform not just commerce and the nature of the corporation, but many of our institutions in society and everyone needs to pay attention to this.”

The founder, publisher and editor of Block Chain Inside Out is Pete Harris, a veteran technology journalist, publisher and event producer. In 1988, he launched the Dealing with Technology newsletter, which was later acquired by Waters Information Services (now part of Incisive Media). At Waters, Pete oversaw the editorial launch of newsletters covering internet and mobile trading, and spearheaded the publisher's online and events businesses. In the early 2000s, Pete created the "on Wall Street" series of events, focusing on topics including Java, Linux, Web Services and High Performance Computing. In recent years, Pete joined A-Team Group where he introduced and the associated Low-Latency Summit events.

Block Chain Inside Out becomes a sister publication to Crypto Markets & Technology, which focuses on the institutional trading of crypto currencies. Both are owned be Pete's Lighthouse Partners company, which also engages in consulting and publishes research, with a strong focus on block chain technologies.

Pete will be attending this weekend's North America Bitcoin Conference in Miami, FL to cover developments and meet with editorial and business contacts.

Block Chain Inside Out is a media sponsor of the Texas Bitcoin Conference in Austin, TX at the end of March. Lighthouse Partners is a silver sponsor of the same event.
