During January and February, mOasis and nine other finalists will participate in the Thrive Accelerator Program, to be held in Salinas, California, leading to funding and deployment through a top AgTech company for the winning companies.

The successful pitch from mOasis was judged by top industry experts from the Western Growers Association, Taylor Farms, Forbes, Smith Group, and Verizon. Individuals from these companies will be working as mentors with mOasis during the Thrive Accelerator Program through early March 2015.

Steve Hartmeier, CEO of mOasis, commented, “We are pleased that mOasis is moving on to participate in the Thrive Accelerator Program. Our BountiGel™ products, which incorporate the Aquamer technology, have been very well received and demonstrate results in terms of saving water and increasing yields – particularly where water supplies are limited and where preserving soil moisture is essential. We’re really looking forward to working with the expert mentors over the next two months, leading up to the Demo Day in early March.”

The ten Accelerator finalists will conclude their experience at the Demo Day on March 4 and participation during the SVG/Forbes Reinventing America AgTech Summit on July 8 and 9, 2015, including a chance to compete for funding and deployment of their technology at one of the industry’s top companies.
