Respected outpatient provider chooses Visage 7 for their Deconstructed PACS strategy
SAN DIEGO, CA, January 12, 2015 − Visage Imaging Inc. (“Visage”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Pro Medicus Ltd. (ASX: PME), announced today the signing of a five-year contract with Zwanger-Pesiri Radiology (“Zwanger-Pesiri”) – a highly respected radiology group and outpatient imaging provider on New York’s Long Island. Visage 7 enables enterprise imaging with amazingly fast, thin-client, server-side processing technology, as well as simple mobile access to imaging results via Visage Ease(SM).
The group will use the Visage 7 Enterprise Imaging Platform as the core component of its Deconstructed PACS(SM) enterprise imaging strategy enabling the group to provide exceptionally fast, state-of-the-art imaging to their reading radiologists and referring physicians. Visage 7 will integrate to Zwanger-Pesiri’s existing vendor neutral archive and enterprise workflow engine. Complementing the Visage 7 enterprise viewer, Zwanger-Pesiri has selected the Primordial workflow orchestration platform, enabling highly sophisticated, seamless reading workflow across Zwanger-Pesiri’s distributed network.
Zwanger-Pesiri is one of the largest US providers of outpatient imaging services with 18 imaging centers and 58 radiologists, regionally distributed across Long Island. The group is known for acquiring the latest in advanced imaging technology being the first private radiology practice in the US to purchase a PET/MRI (positron emission tomography/magnetic resonance imaging) scanner. This is in addition to significant recent investments in 3D mammography or digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) and other leading edge technologies.
