SEL is gaining traction in the education world as its implementation has shown a positive change in student behavior, improved social interactions and better academic outcomes. With SEL, students learn to regulate emotions and develop skills such as social sensitivity, expression, humor, conflict-resolution and collaboration – all of which contribute to the child as a whole as well as improve school climate.

After this webinar, attendees will:
•Gain a deeper understanding of emotional intelligence and practical tools for improving it.
•Recognize the many dimensions of SEL as they relate to students with special needs.
•See an example of an award-winning game that engages children with fun play while teaching and measuring SEL skills.
