The competition gives teachers and pupils in the UK a chance to win 30 Chromebooks for their schools - worth over £6,000!
Ipswich, UK (PRWEB UK) 14 January 2015
Getech, one of the longest serving independent technology suppliers to the education sector and authorised Google Education Partner, is pleased to announce a competition to celebrate the launch of Chromebooks4Schools.com. The competition gives teachers and pupils a chance to win 30 Chromebooks for their school - worth over £6,000!
Guy Watts, Managing Director of Getech Ltd. commented that ‘while many new technologies have emerged in the classroom, we have been overwhelmed with the positive feedback we have received from educators using Chromebooks in the classroom. Owing to this success, we have developed Chromebooks4schools.com. We hope that educators will find this site a useful resource for understanding what Chromebooks can offer their schools/colleges and what support services are available to them’.
Richard Maclean, Sales Manager for Getech Education, said ‘We are delighted to be able to offer such a great prize for this competition. This is a great opportunity for pupils to show their creative skills and the best will be rewarded with a classroom set of Chromebooks. We want to see creative entries that show pupils and teachers connecting, communicating, collaborating, and most importantly, having fun! ’.
To enter the competition, teachers and pupils simply need to create a short video (less than 3 minutes) sharing how they would use the power of the Chromebook to take their lessons beyond the walls of their classroom and connect with the world.
The competition is open to all UK Schools, to pupils of all key stages. Schools may submit up to 3 entries each.
Please visit chromebooks4schools.com for details of how to enter the competition and for the competition terms and conditions.
