Agenda for Upcoming Virtual Conference on Medicare Star Ratings Includes Sessions on Improving Medication Adherence, Designing Effective MTM Programs

- 2:15 – 3:30 p.m.: “New Strategies to Improve Scores on Challenging Chronic Conditions” — A senior Medicare health plan physician executive and a physician who advises Medicare Advantage plans on stars programs will present creative, effective ways to improve measures related to bladder control, physical activity, mental health and osteoporosis.
- 3:45 – 5:00 p.m.: “Best Practices for Designing Effective MTM Programs and Boosting CMR Participation” — Two consultants share advice on how to design and implement strategies for performing medication therapy management (MTM) services that can show results while not breaking the bank, and how to improve completion rates for comprehensive medication reviews (CMRs), which are slated to move from a display measure to a star ratings measure in 2016.
Additionally, each session will conclude with generous time allocated to answering individual questions.
