National Sales Solutions Names Director of Supply Chain Management

National Sales Solutions, (NSS), a leading provider of outsourced sales, marketing and supply chain management for consumer packaged goods companies, has named Michael Godwin as Director of Supply Chain Management. Godwin will be responsible for supply chain team leadership, retailer customer service, logistics and overall sales operations planning and execution.

He joins NSS from Furniture Brands/Heritage Home Group in St. Louis, Missouri. Godwin also comes to NSS with 20+ years of experience across a broad spectrum of supply chain disciplines. At Triumph Pharmaceuticals, Godwin guided the SmartMouth brand from a start-up operation to serving over 30,000 retail locations. There, he held responsibility over the entire supply chain from manufacturing to retail delivery, customer service and revenue management. He also held director positions at Energizer Battery, overseeing forecasting and budgeting for $1.2 billion in battery and flashlight sales. Mr. Godwin also holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Georgia State University.
