DISC Webinar from PeopleKeys to Feature Strategies for Improving Workplace Communication
Boardman, Ohio (PRWEB) January 14, 2015 -- When workplace communication breaks down, serious problems arise. Communication problems at the office aren’t just an issue for the individuals involved in the dispute. Communication issues are bad for an organization as a whole, resulting in lost productivity, mistakes, poor morale, and in extreme cases, lawsuits.
Improving interoffice communication is a priority for most businesses. To help businesses achieve that goal, PeopleKeys will air a live webinar designed to teach participants how an understanding of DISC personality styles can be used to improve workplace communication.
The Improving Workplace Communication DISC webinar will stream live at 1pm EST on Friday, January 15th. The goal of the Improving Workplace Communication webinar is to help participants learn communication strategies tied to DISC, a popular method of behavioral analysis.
The Improving Workplace Communication DISC webinar will cover:
• Ways that interoffice communication strategies can be tailored to specific personality types
• How to understand and adapt to the communication styles of others
• How to recognize the root of communication problems and facilitate positive change
The Improving Workplace Communication webinar will stream live on the PeopleKeys website on Friday, January 15th at 1 pm EST. The webinar will be taught by master DISC coach John Schindell, with an enrollment fee of $49. As part of a special offer, PeopleKeys will transfer each participant’s $49 enrollment fee into a credit on PeopleKeys’ online store, giving them the chance to sample the company’s other personality tests and DISC profiling tools. Each webinar participant will also receive a copy of the PowerPoint presentation used during the training.
“Communication is more than just talking to one another,” said Schindell. “It’s about listening, using our minds, and choosing the best strategies for getting our message across. You have to know your audience, anticipate obstacles, and package what you have to say according to the listener’s needs, not just your own. Above all, you have to remember that strategies that work for one person may not work at all for another. DISC teaches flexibility, adaptability, and a strategic approach based on an understanding of the differences between personality types. It’s one of the most important skills that an individual can possess, and one that can dramatically impact the overall well-being of businesses.”
The Improving Workplace Communication webinar will be presented as a part of PeopleKeys’ popular DISC for the Real World series, which includes monthly installments of interactive 60-minute DISC training sessions on a variety of topics.
