Andy Woolley Named Vice President of Industry Development of Homes.com®
Norfolk, Va. (PRWEB) January 12, 2015 -- Homes.com®, leading online real estate destination and provider of real estate marketing solutions, has announced the promotion of Andy Woolley to vice president of industry development. Woolley will be responsible for cultivating and developing MLS, broker, franchise, and other growth-oriented industry partnerships for Homes.com.
With close to 20 years of industry experience in real estate media and technology, Woolley will focus closely on building and strengthening Homes.com’s relationships with MLSs and other key industry groups around the country. Woolley will also provide executive oversight for enterprise solutions, including Homes.com’s technology that powers remax.com, era.com, and other large broker solutions.
“Homes.com is committed to providing consumers with the best possible search experience by offering the most accurate and timely data available, combined with being a ‘friend to the industry’ by positioning the listing agent as a critical part of the consumer inquiry,” said Dave Mele, president of Homes.com. “Andy brings a wealth of experience to a critical area of our business as we focus on strengthening and expanding our partnerships throughout the country to help agents, brokers and MLSs grow their businesses.”
"I'm thrilled to take on this new role within Homes.com as we continue expanding our efforts to serve the real estate community," said Woolley. "For more than 20 years, Homes.com has been a consistent leader in helping real estate professionals connect with homeowners, buyers, and sellers. Essential to those efforts is the strength of our partnerships with MLSs, franchisors, brokers, and key industry partners. I look forward to continuing the advancement of Homes.com's upstanding reputation as a valued partner to the industry."
Woolley began his career in the real estate industry at IRIS in 1996 as the first employee at the company that produced the popular Lightning software brand, which was later acquired by Homeseekers, Inc. Woolley served in several sales and management roles and remained at Homeseekers until 2003, when he joined eNeighborhoods as director of marketing. At eNeighborhoods, he was quickly appointed to lead the newly formed MLS Services division in October 2004 as vice president of enterprise services, where he served until being promoted to vice president/general manager in 2009. Most recently, Woolley served as Homes.com’s vice president, overseeing sales and customer service. Under his leadership, the company launched Homes Connect, the real estate industry’s first truly integrated marketing platform, serving real estate agents, brokers and MLS partners.
A 19-year veteran of the real estate media and technology industry, Woolley graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in economics. He currently resides in Coto De Caza, Calif. with his wife and two children.
