Mill Creek Residential, a leading multifamily developer, investor and operator specializing in premier apartment communities across the U.S., today announced that it has begun leasing apartments at Avenue H, its newest community developed in a joint venture with an institutional investor advised by Sarofim Realty Advisors.

Strategically located along the Central Expressway in the Knox-Henderson district, the community features 208 apartment homes offering easy access to downtown Dallas and thousands of jobs, restaurants and retailers within a short walk or bike ride. The Knox-Henderson district offers one of the most pedestrian friendly lifestyles available in the Dallas metro area.

Avenue H is just blocks from high-end shopping and dining destinations along Knox Street and Henderson Avenue, which are home to Pottery Barn, Abacus Restaurant, Apple Store and Crate and Barrel. Also within walking distance of the community are Katy Trail, a 3.5 mile paved trail for running and biking, and Abbott Park. To enable residents to take advantage of the amenities, the community operates a free bike share service for residents, who can check out cruiser bikes for a ride to nearby shops or along the popular Katy Trail.

Inside Avenue H, which offers studio, 1- and 2-bedroom apartment homes, residents enjoy a high-tech fitness center, clubhouse with conference center and coffee bar and a second-floor pool with sundeck. Avenue H is also a smoke-free community with door-to-door trash pickup and covered parking.

Each of the Dallas apartment homes showcase high-end finishes, such as wood-style flooring, stainless-steel appliances, granite countertops, ceramic top stoves, contemporary lighting and faux-wood blinds. Select apartment homes feature expansive 12-foot ceilings, granite kitchen islands, built-in computer desks and bookshelves and double vanities.

With the addition of Avenue H, Mill Creek currently owns and operates 560 apartment homes with an additional 507 apartments under construction in the Dallas market.
