The potential gooisocial has to connect businesses will be invaluable.
Melbourne, Fla. (PRWEB) January 13, 2015
mygooi™ said it has named four Latin American business leaders to an advisory board to refine its gooisocial™ media platform for that region. The board will work with Ron Aylward, mygooi™ global director of business development.
Aylward said the board is augmented by a group of advisors with expertise in specific nations in the region.
"The gooisocial platform will enable small and medium sized businesses to readily connect with customers," Aylward said. "The initial focus will be the SMB market in Latin America.”
The board members are Raul Bohorquez, an attorney from Medellin, Columbia; Dulce Cicero, a consultant on Latin American Business Operations who was formerly with Starbucks and is in Buenos Aires, Argentina; Gonzalo DiPaolo, who is headquartered in Miami and handles operations throughout Latin America for Microsoft; and Daniel Roman of 404 Comundata Telecomunicaciones, based in Bogota, Columbia.
Aylward said, “All four have been based in South America, and all have spent at least a year in the U.S. to understand our culture, how we can partner and how we can best interact in Latin America.”
“I am eagerly looking forward to the gooisocial app launch in Latin America,” DiPaolo said. “I have been watching the app develop and the potential it has to connect businesses will be invaluable. Its ability to connect with other businesses and then consumers will be a valued asset to both groups.”
He noted the app lets small and medium size businesses compete on a much larger scale. And they can save marketing and media dollars to invest in other areas of their business. “The possibilities are endless.”
The advisors who augment the board include Francisco Cornejo, Marketing Executive, San Jose, Costa Rica; Jason Meritt, consultant in Mexico; Luz Marina Arciniegas Pena from Caracas, Venezuela; and Isa Chirinos Astette from Lima. Peru.
"This august group of prominent businessmen and businesswomen understands the inherent dynamics of the people and culture,” said Aylward. “And I am very fortunate to have additional contributors from government offices and the oil and mining industries in Colombia, Peru and Argentina at my disposal, as well as top expert and marketing genius Franciso Cornejo, whose firm is based in San Jose, Costa Rica.”
Aylward noted that their ability to analyze real life/true time data on social business behaviors is part of the growth and reach of the gooisocial media app.
"From a perspective of social media, data analytics, along with data services, Latin America is an emerging force," said mygooi™ chairman and CEO Paul N. Greenwood.
