Glendale Philharmonic Association Successfully Held the Inaugural Concert of their Fifth Anniversary Season
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 15, 2015 -- Five years ago, critically acclaimed Russian cellist, Ruslan Biryukov (Руслан Бирюков) founded the Glendale Philharmonic Orchestra, comprised of local professional musicians in the Southland. On January 10, 2015, the Orchestra returned to their very first stage at the First Baptist Church of Glendale, where they first appeared 5 years ago, for the Inaugural Concert of their Fifth Anniversary Season.

Biryukov is the only cellist ever invited to perform for 10 consecutive years solo recitals at the Sundays Live Concert Series in the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the longest running live radio broadcasted concert series in the United States on KUSC 91.5 FM.
The Glendale Philharmonic Orchestra is a DBA (Doing Business As) of Positive Motions Foundation, a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization whose mission is to present professional quality orchestral and chamber music concerts. The Glendale Philharmonic Orchestra has a present roster of 75 musicians.
