According to apple they want to, “Use greener materials, and conserve the resources we all need to thrive.” BMW has marched forward in the same direction with several investments in the alternative energy sector including the install of 400 solar modules in North Carolina along with energy efficient carports and rooftop systems in other parts of the world with efforts to majorly reduce their carbon footprint.
Government policies, many which President Barack Obama has backed heavily make it necessary for production companies to use less harmful emissions every year. However Jacob at ESI believes no one will ever influence a business more than its customers’ wants and needs. Government policies are great indicators that consumers and companies alike must do something about global warming, however those may come and go. History shows that whatever the consumers want is what the market will provide them with. Thankfully, proper education explains the importance of renewable resources and solar energy through government policies and campaigns, and consumers are now demanding that companies play ball.
