The Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) has estimated that $19 billion worth of potential water projects will be needed.

Infocast, the leading business intelligence and networking events producer in the water industry, has announced the 2nd Colorado Water Summit, scheduled on March 3-5, 2015 and will take place in Denver, CO.

The Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) has estimated that $19 billion worth of potential water projects will be needed to address future municipal and industrial water shortcomings. Planned infusions of funding via the Colorado Water Plan (CWP) will create a multitude of project opportunities and redefine the way Colorado state and local governments use and invest in solutions to address the water crisis. Consequently, the impending CWP will not be completed until December 2015 according to Governor Hickenlooper, creating a shortfall in funding in the immediate term.

To immediately address this crisis, Infocast is holding the 2nd Colorado Water Summit where policy makers will discuss the new water rules and regulations related to funding and the steps toward future funding that are needed to succeed in the new business environment. Peter R. Foster from Wright Water Engineers, Inc. and Patrick Rondinelli from the City of Ouray will be on hand presenting their City of Ouray Case Study on Optimizing Infrastructure Investment for New and Aging Water Systems. They will address investment in rehabilitation projects, main renewals and sanitary rehabilitation as an additional aspect of the summit.

Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with key investors, financiers, municipalities, water users, technology companies and other stakeholders in Colorado water as they attend Infocast’s summit to take part in Colorado’s water revolution!
