Shades of Romance Conference to Be Held This Valentine’s Day Weekend in Seattle
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) January 28, 2015 -- The Shades of Romance Conference has just released the list of sponsors for the conference scheduled to take place over Valentine’s Day weekend February 13-15, 2015 at the Motif Seattle Hotel in celebration of the upcoming blockbuster movie Fifty Shades of Grey. Cleis Press, Circlet Press and Riverdale Avenue Books, three of the leading publishers of erotic romance for women, along with RT Book Reviews, the publication of the romance industry, Vivid Entertainment, the world’s leading producer of American porn, and Babeland, one of the leading sex education outlets in the country, will come together to ratchet up the excitement to this ultimate Girls Night Out weekend.
While there is enormous excitement surrounding the opening of the movie version of Fifty Shades of Grey, there are no events or conferences coinciding with the movie’s release. Shades of Romance Conference will be the first with a private screening of the movie for conference participants, followed by a panel discussion/pajama party with the 18 best-selling romance writers.
Eighteen authors are scheduled to appear for a massive reading and book signing on Saturday including Seattle’s own Eliza Gayle, J Kenner, Lexi Blake, Kate Allure, Jami Davenport, Louisa Bacio, Daisy Harris, Suzanne Grahame, Alice Gaines, Anna Alexander, Selina Fyre, Mara White, Ava Parker and Lori Perkins. The end result is an exciting one-of-a-kind event that is sure to garner the attention of Fifty Shades of Grey fans everywhere.
Lori Perkins, author of 50 Writers on 50 Shades of Grey, will be the keynote luncheon speaker at the conference, where winners of baskets of signed books donated by such best-selling authors as Lisa Renee Jones, Shayla Black, Roni Moran and Meredith Wild, as well as signed books by EL James, will be raffled off. The afternoon will include an optional visit to The Center for Sex Positive Culture and a private sex toy shopping party in the evening. Sunday, February 15th activities will include breakout sessions on How to Write Smut for Fun and Profit and lunch.
