Patriots AFC Championship Tickets: Ticket Down Slashes Ticket Prices and Issues Valuable Promo Code for 2015 New England Patriots AFC Championship Tickets
Foxborough, MA (PRWEB) January 14, 2015 -- The New England Patriots are once again in familiar territory following their miraculous come-from behind 35-31 victory against the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday afternoon. The Patriots, behind the arm (and legs) of Tom Brady, came back from two separate 14-point deficits to beat the Ravens, who had won two of their previous trips to Foxborough, MA against the Patriots in the playoffs.
The Patriots are looking to reach their sixth Super Bowl in the Brady and Bill Belichick era. The team won their first three Super Bowl trips, but has since dropped two straight. Both of those losses came against the New York Giants including their loss at Super Bowl XLII, which dashed their hopes of a perfect season. In recent years, the Patriots have been highly successful in the regular season, reaching the postseason in the past six seasons with 73 wins. They haven’t fared as well in the postseason during that time, registering a 4-5 record.
This season, it was more of the same of the Brady-led franchise. He once again put up MVP caliber numbers, throwing for 4,109 yards with 33 touchdowns and just 9 interceptions. He led them to a 12-4 mark during the regular season, earning home-field advantage as the No.1 seed in the American Football Conference. In the Division Round showdown with their rival from Baltimore, Brady threw for 367 yards with 3 touchdowns and 1 interception, while also adding a touchdown on the ground.
During the regular season, Brady and company didn’t see much help on the ground, but in the receiving game, Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola, and Brandon LaFell all played well throughout the year. In their 2015 postseason debut, these receivers all played a pivotal part in their comeback win. Gronkowski led the way with 7 catches for 108 yards and a touchdown, while Edelman (8 catches, 74 yards), Amendola (5 catches, 81 yards, 2 touchdowns), and LaFell (5 catches, 62 yards, 1 touchdown) made it easy for New England to get the huge victory.
