Gen. John R. Allen (USMC, ret.) will also address full conference delegates during the April 1 keynote luncheon. Gen. Allen is one of the nation's foremost experts on geopolitical relationships between the United States, and nations in Asia and the Middle East. Widely hailed as a strategic thinker, he managed the removal of 33,000 U.S. troops from Afghanistan. The retired four-star Marine Corps general serves as senior fellow at the Center for Naval Analysis and the Merrill Center of the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
