EMEX, LLC, a leading energy consulting firm which utilizes technology to develop unique energy management solutions, saw double digit growth for the fourth consecutive year. The growth was driven by a move towards larger, more sophisticated clients, a surge in the natural gas business, and continued recognition by the marketplace of the value of EMEX’s energy expertise and use of the latest technology to find the right solutions for its clients.
“EMEX bloomed this year, growing nearly 15% year over year. This growth speaks to EMEX’s position as one of the more sophisticated energy risk management advisors in the country. Our staff executed on product structures unique in the market place,” explained President Dan Marzuola. “These new product structures, coupled with our market analysis and continued technological enhancements allowed EMEX to exceed its goals for the year. Going forward, EMEX is positioned to use its position in the market place to continue to drive value for our clients as we continue to implement energy cost risk management strategies that provide outstanding value.”
EMEX assisted clients around the nation with the procurement of nearly 2 Terawatt hours of annual electricity consumption and over 2.1 million dekatherms of annual natural gas consumption.
“Our growth this year significantly exceeded expectations,” said Phillip T. Golden, Director of Risk and Product Management at EMEX. “Our ability as a company to effectively communicate our value proposition to our clients as well as continuing to find innovative solutions for them was critical and proves the value of energy risk management consulting. Going forward, we will continue to look for innovative solutions to meet our clients’ needs as well as focusing on new renewable strategies, including solar and other forms of renewable energy.”
EMEX Announces Suppliers of the Year
Recognizing that it cannot meet its clients’ needs without effectively partnering with third party energy suppliers, EMEX also announced its inaugural “Suppliers of the Year Awards”. The awards, which cover a variety of categories, are based on working with over 70 different suppliers around the country. The categories in which awards were given out included Platinum and Gold level suppliers, New Supplier of the Year, Customer Service Supplier of the Year, and Most Innovative Supplier of the Year.
“We believe that each of these suppliers went above and beyond in the categories for which they are being recognized,” explained Phillip T. Golden. “The award winners represent a broad spectrum of companies, from the Fortune 500 Supplier to more specialized regional suppliers. However, just because a supplier won an award this year will not impact EMEX’s continued commitment to providing all suppliers an opportunity to compete to fairly win our clients’ business.”
