Valentine's Day can be a tough holiday when you're single. Trust me I know.

Power up the flux capacitor and hop into the DeLorean this Valentine's Day. Baltimore Sound Stage is being transformed into Hill Valley High for Back to the Future’s Enchantment Under the Sea Dance Saturday February 14th, 2015. Whether you're single or coupled up, this will be a jam-packed night with DJs, dating games, cash bar, Hawaiian Fusion buffet, door prizes, giveaways and a live band. Because "if they can't dance, they can't kiss, and if they can't kiss, they can't fall in love." Wearing your best 1950s or 1980s school dance outfit is encouraged, and the best dressed will be named Prom King and Queen (even though it wasn't a prom in the movie). “In today’s world of digital dating, we really wanted to take it back by offering an event for quality singles to meet face to face,” says Danny Bendebba, one of the event founders.
During the first part of the evening there will be an Invite-Only meet and greet for singles. According to Rob Kowalski of CityFam, the organization hosting the event, "Ads are running to all the single people in the region and the application process allows us to weed out those looking for love, versus those just seeking a hookup or a night to go drinking." The event is for those 30 years old and above. "If you're ready to meet someone significant this may be the event for you," said Kowalski. Tickets can be purchased at undersea.eventbrite.com.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Ronald McDonald House in Baltimore, who's motto fittingly is "the house that love built."
"It is important to all of us involved in the planning and production of this event, and future events, that we tie in with local charities. It is our way of supporting them and giving back to the community," said Lisa Seborowski, event producer.
