"We are looking forward to enhancing the customer experiences of customers at the companies we’ve acquired, by leveraging the features of our all-in-one platform,” says SimplyCircle CEO Elena Krasnoperova.

SimplyCircle, the online communication hub for parents, schools, and clubs nationwide, today announced the acquisition of four companies in the online group management space:
- Jooners, a service for creating free signup sheets online
- Just Between Friends, a communication platform used by Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs).
- Qlubb, an online group management application for sports teams, scout troops and other types of clubs
- Causera, a fundraising platform for PTAs and other nonprofits
SimplyCircle already connects its active network of parents to teachers, sports coaches, and club leaders. With these acquisitions, the customers of all these services will soon be able to enjoy additional useful features due to integration with SimplyCircle’s platform.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Jooners, Just Between Friends, Qlubb and Causera to the SimplyCircle family. It’s a natural fit, as all of these companies are about connecting parents to their respective communities. SimplyCircle is where parents manage all the different aspects of their busy family life in one place. We are looking forward to enhancing the customer experiences of customers at the companies we’ve acquired, by leveraging the features of our all-in-one platform,” says SimplyCircle CEO Elena Krasnoperova.
The acquisition will give improved capabilities for parent group leaders. “The technology platform is a huge part of what makes SimplyCircle a great asset to parent leaders. Over the years, I’ve worked very closely with PTAs, and I know that SimplyCircle’s simple, yet powerful, communication features are just what they need,” says Just Between Friends founder David Radin. “The SimplyCircle team understands how to keep everyone better connected and engaged. They care about this as deeply as I do, and they have the vision to build something great.”
Originally known as SchoolCircle, the company changed its name to SimplyCircle to reflect its growing usage beyond the classroom environment. Active parent communities were finding new ways to use the platform for increasingly larger parts of their lives. “Parents can start with a ‘circle’ for their kid’s classroom, then create another for their club, and another just for staying in touch with their friends who are parents,” says Krasnoperova. “If it matters, then it happens on SimplyCircle."
“SimplyCircle has made a huge difference for our PTO,” said Teanna O’Mara, PTO President at Sakamoto Elementary in San Jose, CA. “SimplyCircle makes it much easier for parents to stay informed and involved, and the more involved parents are, the better the outcomes for our students.”
SimplyCircle is an online hub for parents, schools, and clubs, that lets users manage daily communication in one convenient portal. SimplyCircle organizes parents’ lives with private groups or “circles” where people can share tasks, plan and schedule events, manage volunteer signups, send messages, and share documents and photos without having to visit different websites or use different apps. With SimplyCircle, parents get communication the way they want it, so they stay in the loop and in control.
