McGaw Graphics, Inc., a leading worldwide art publisher, has released a collection of 7 new Andy Warhol fashion illustration posters in collaboration with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. Pairing Warhol’s 1950’s fashion illustrations with some of his most stylish quotes, this collection embodies Warhol’s love of fashion and commentary.

Andy Warhol’s interest in fashion can be traced back to the 1950’s, while he worked as a commercial illustrator. During this time, Warhol won many awards and became one of the most famous and sought after commercial illustrators in New York City. Warhol also loved talkers as much as he adored the beauties that he depicted in his illustrations. With his uncanny ability to absorb his surroundings, Warhol listened more than he spoke in public, yet his words are part of our daily lexicon.

“The Foundation is delighted to celebrate Warhol’s passion for fashion with this stunning new capsule collection,” said Michael Hermann, Director of Licensing for The Andy Warhol Foundation. “Imbedded in these posters is Warhol’s belief that fashion wasn’t just what you wore someplace – it was the whole reason for going.”

“McGaw Graphics is excited to release this new collection of posters that traces back to Warhol’s roots as a commercial illustrator,” said George Yedinak, Interim CEO of McGaw Graphics. “The combination of the imagery and his words provide a unique portrayal linking the worlds of fashion and art.”

The posters are available in petite format (PF) (11x14”) with one triptych (12x28”). All images are also available as print-on-demand on paper.
