Hip Hop News & Social Network, TheGrind.com, Prepares Launch
Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) January 20, 2015 -- Hip Hop Music, Media and Entertainment website TheGrind.com announced today that it will be officially launching a hip hop news, media and social network in early 2015. The platform, TheGrind.com, will allow members post, share and discuss a wide variety of hip hop topics and media which will include images, videos and music. TheGrind.com is focused on creating an experience that allows its users to indulge in all things hip hop, from hip hop news to trending hip hop, old school and more.
Unlike traditional hip hop news content which aggregates existing blogs, such as WorldStarHipHop, members of TheGrind.com are given the unique ability to quickly and easily post hip hop related media for discussion. All images, videos, and music are instantly (real time) added to the site homepage without delay or critique from an administrative approval process. Once submitted, it is up to TheGrind.com community to vote on the content to determine how relevant it is. This process, in turn, allows users to dictate what is hip hop news worthy, what is hot and what is not.
If the posted image, video, or audio content is well received by TheGrind.com community, the content will rise to the top of the hip hop channel it was tagged in and will also have the potential of appearing on the coveted home page of TheGrind.com. Members who submit content that is valued by TheGrind.com community will reach higher ranks on TheGrind leaderboard and will also receive reputation points which can be redeemed for hip hop related prizes such as T-shirts, sneakers, hats, and concert tickets. Reputation points are rewarded for every view, up vote, save, and comment a user's submitted post receives from other members whether it is focused on hip hop news or not, so long at it is hip hop related, it is welcome.
TheGrind.com goes beyond delivering hip hop news and is currently in an open BETA phase. To those early members who decide to join, additional rewards for members called the 'Originals' are being provided as a thank you for helping test out the platform. So far, BETA members of TheGrind.com have generated more than 50,000 actions including but not limited to posting, up voting, saving, and commenting on media focused on Hip Hop News, Drake, Eminem, 50 cent, Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, Jay-z, Love and Hip Hop and Kim Kardashian photos, videos, and music media.
