Revenew, Inc. Reports Strong 2014 Results, Sees Positive Outlook for the Year Ahead
Chicago, Illinois (PRWEB) January 20, 2015 -- Revenew, Inc., a local marketing management platform, raised the bar in 2014 by achieving 28 percent user growth, 15 percent active client growth and nearly doubling their number of employees, laddering up to a strong year for the company and setting the stage for market expansion in 2015.
Customer, Platform and Partner Growth
2014 was a year of growth on many fronts, which culminated in a total of 71 major brands across multiple industries localizing their marketing campaigns on Revenew.
Revenew introduced new platform capabilities in the past year to help brands and their affiliates better manage their local marketing including a mobile application, new user interface and social functionality. Released in September 2014, the mobile application continues to improve the ability to drive results by making marketing easy for local affiliates wherever they may be. The user interface and social functionality further improve the user experience, increase engagement and allow for communication between brands and their local affiliates.
In addition to individual platform enhancements, Revenew’s strategic partnerships and advanced API framework brought additional value to members. This past year, Revenew integrated with TSS™, a major point of sale system in the mobile electronics industry, making marketing a part of the retailers everyday life and providing closed-loop visibility to manufacturers. Also, the company began a major partnership with the Business Marketing Association (BMA), a division of the Association of National Advertisers (ANA).
Organization Growth
The company nearly doubled its number of employees in the past year with notable hires including John Stammen, president and COO, Todd Rathje, senior vice president of sales, and Jeannette Howe, vice president of business development. With a solid executive leadership team in place, Revenew will focus much of 2015 on external growth, expanding Revenew’s market reach and driving even greater value for customers.
“What drew me to Revenew was its strength in product and solution offerings and its vision,” Stammen said. “It’s never been more important for brands to be able to market effectively at the local level and we are well-positioned to enable that in many industries globally.”
In order to accommodate its growth, Revenew relocated to a new office in downtown Chicago from a smaller location in Palatine, Ill. in February 2014.
Funding and Accolades
Revenew ended the year on a strong note landing an additional $3M in funding from Illinois Ventures, TGap Ventures and Allos Ventures. The funds will be used to enter new industry verticals, further enhance the Revenew platform and continue growing the employee base.
In addition to continued funding, Revenew’s founder and CEO, Nasrin Thierer, was awarded with the coveted 2015 Legacy Award from Women in CE.
“2014 was an incredibly energizing year for Revenew. It demonstrated the recognition of our expertise and really set the tone for what lies ahead,” said Thierer. “Local marketing has never been more important. Today, companies small and large are looking to go hyperlocal and enable their local affiliates to market their products, and we’re arming them with a powerful platform that helps them manage their local marketing now and in the future.”
