IDF Connect Announces SSO/MobileKey, a Simple Two-Factor Authentication Solution for CA Single Sign-On
Wilmington, DE (PRWEB) January 20, 2015 -- IDF Connect, a leading provider of security solutions and services for CA Single Sign-On (formerly named CA SiteMinder®) today announced the availability of SSO/MobileKey, its turnkey Two-Factor Authentication solution. SSO/MobileKey enables CA SSO customers to easily deploy a secure, time-based one-time password solution for their users.
“IDF Connect’s SSO/MobileKey minimizes the cost and complexity of two-factor authentication for CA Single Sign-On with a full turnkey solution,” explained Richard Sand, CEO, IDF Connect. “Authentication is enforced entirely by CA SSO and administration is performed entirely within CA Identity Manager (formerly named IdentityMinder™), or a standalone application provided by IDF Connect for clients that don’t use CA Identity Manager.”
Two-factor authentication provides unambiguous identification and authentication of users by combining the user’s password with a time-based password from Google Authenticator, or other mobile apps supporting an RFC-6238 two-factor OTP solution.
With IDF Connect’s SSO/MobileKey solution, system administrators can now deploy two-factor authentication with no new moving parts and zero added infrastructure.
CA Single Sign-On provides a centralized security management foundation that enables the secure use of the web to deliver applications to customers, partners and employees. SSO/MobileKey extends CA’s built-in best-in-class technologies by adding easy-to-deploy support for two-factor authentication.
“IDF Connect’s two-factor authentication solution for CA Single Sign-On provides the ability to quickly and easily add a One-Time Password as an authentication method without requiring installation of additional servers or additional hardware,” said Aaron Berman, CA Technologies senior product advisor for CA Single Sign-On and CA Directory. “The IDF Connect solution compliments CA Advanced Authentication, which provides additional options for more progressive authentication requirements.”
Throughout 2015, IDF Connect, in partnership with CA Technologies, will host webinars, live chats and events on best practices for strong authentication in identity management. Email IDF Connect at info(at)idfconnect(dot)com to receive updates on dates and times for these sessions.
