Flex-Hone® for Firearms Tools for Pistols and Revolvers: BRM Announces Video and Article for SHOT Show (Booth #2828)
Los Angeles, CA (USA) (PRWEB) January 20, 2015 -- Brush Research Manufacturing (BRM), American-owned supplier of gunsmithing tools for handgun maintenance, is announcing a new product video and technical article about flexible honing for pistols and revolvers. Flex-Hone® for Firearms tools promote sidearm performance by improving the surface finish of handgun cylinders such as pistol chambers and slides.
From January 20 to 23, BRM will feature Flex-Hone® for Firearms tools at SHOT Show 2015, the world’s leading tradeshow and conference for the shooting, hunting, and outdoor trade (SHOT) industry. SHOT Show attendees are invited to meet with BRM’s technical team in Booth #2828 to learn how Flex-Hone® tools improve cylinder surface finish.
Handgun Maintenance
As the Flex-Hone® for Firearms Tools – Pistols and Revolvers video explains, BRM gun tools target surface finishing challenges. For example, BRM pistol chamber hones remove build-ups of primer, gun powder, and bullet wax that can cause misfeeds, failures to eject (FTEs), and misfires. Flexible hones for handguns also remove tooling marks while producing a surface finish that supports optimum lubrication.
For handgun maintenance, BRM also provides gunsmithing tools for maintaining the slides on semi-automatic pistols made by Beretta, Sig Sauer, and Smith & Wesson. Handgun owners can also choose flexible honing tools for maintaining the slide lug area or main spring housing in Model 1911 firearms. These brushing tools impart a wear-resistant finish that promotes proper firearms functioning.

A recent Flex-Hone® for Firearms article offers additional information, including specifications for the BRM gun tools used with internal slides and M1911 pistols.
