CPCU Society to Spotlight Key Risk Insurance And Reinsurance Issues at 2015 Reinsurance Symposium
Malvern, PA (PRWEB) January 20, 2015 -- The 22nd annual CPCU Society Reinsurance Symposium will be held March 18 through 19, 2015, at the Hyatt Regency Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing.
Hosted by the CPCU Society, the CPCU Society Reinsurance Interest Group and the Philadelphia CPCU Society Chapter, this event is open to all insurance and reinsurance professionals and offers the opportunity to network and to hear expert speakers lead specialized sessions on:
• Cyber risk policies and their potential impact on reinsurance
• Regulatory changes affecting the insurance and reinsurance marketplace
• The importance of good dispute resolution clauses
• Alternative capital’s expanding role in reinsurance
• The 2015 extension of Terrorism Risk Insurance Act (TRIA)
The symposium will start off with a networking reception from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on March 18, followed by educational sessions and panels from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on March 19.
During Thursday’s luncheon, a ceremony will be held to recognize the achievements of the 2014 Associate in Reinsurance (ARe™) designation program graduates.
CPCU® designees in attendance will be awarded 6.5 continuing professional development (CPD) points, and agents and brokers will be awarded 5 continuing education (CE) credits.
