Senior Wellness Expo Celebrates Area Seniors with an Exciting and Information-Packed Event

In 2013, she formed the Austin Senior Resource Alliance to provide seniors and their families with access to trusted professionals who serve the seniors market.
In the same spirit of collaboration and community, Cummings has teamed up with the Austin Senior Resource Alliance to host Lakeway’s first Senior Wellness Expo on Thursday, February 24, 2015, from noon to 5 p.m., at Lakeway Activity Center, 105 Cross Creek.
The free event will be an exciting and informative afternoon providing seniors with wellness tips, door prizes, hearing screenings, demonstrations, exhibits, and presentations. It will also be provide older adults with an opportunity to mingle, learn more about their community and walk away with advice for everyday life.
Talks from top area professionals will and entertain attendees with life-enhancing insights and information on topics that include: “How to Talk with Your Doctor,” “How to Use the Equity in Your Home to Pay for Health Care,” and “Probate is Voluntary.”
“Our senior population is among our greatest resources,” Cummings said. “I view this Senior Wellness Expo as an opportunity to give back to a community of mature adults who have given so much for so many years.”
