Mueller College President and CEO, Dr. Jeffrey Welsh is excited to announce the addition of Mario Gonzales as Program Chair of the Associate of Occupational Studies Degree in Recording Arts.

Mueller College President and CEO, Dr. Jeffrey Welsh is excited to announce the addition of Mario Gonzales as Program Chair of the Associate of Occupational Studies Degree in Recording Arts.

“Mario Gonzales brings a lifetime of the highest-level professional experience as a performer, audio engineer, producer and educator to our new Recording Arts Degree. With his extensive industry experience and higher education background, we are truly blessed that he has joined our team. But I am mostly excited for our students – they are the real winners.”

Mr. Gonzales holds bachelors and Master’s degrees in music, many industry technical certifications, and has recently served as the Coordinator of Audio and Recording Technology at San Diego State University and as Associate Faculty Member at MiraCosta Community College. His industry experience makes him perfect for his new role at the College, having collaborated/appeared with the likes of Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Paulina Rubio, and Diana Ross to name a few. Mario is currently Sheila E’s Music Director.

“I am extremely excited to develop a world class program in the heart of the community that has given me so much and to join the efforts of Mueller College’s dedication to excellence,” said Gonzales.
